Wood Pellets
Since 2004 DONG Energy has used wood pellets as fuel at the CHP plant ”Avedøreværket” south of Copenhagen, which produces as much as 800 MW. Here, the wood pellets replace coal, gas and oil in one of the plant’s two boilers.
